She kissed him. She hadn’t meant to, it just sort of happened. Then she gave him a ride home because the snow was horrible and buses and cabs had mostly stopped running. The real trouble came when she had to spend the night at Castle’s because she’d never make it home.

Its summer and Richard Castle is thinking about how things were going.

Richard Castle returns to the 12th Precinct, but not to the the welcome he was expecting, or hoping for. 

Rick comes back from the summer to find things worse than he ever imagined. He's been working hard to fix things, but it hasn't been easy. He's hit a wall with Kate and decides to take a leap. 

Castle has been back for a few weeks and is doing promotion for his book Naked Heat and working with Beckett once more. Things are going well until Castle starts promoting the connection between Heat and Beckett.

For the second fanfic challenge. 

Rick get's a call from Alexis. She sounds upset.

For Admin's Challenge. Esposito arrives at a murder scene.

A State of Emergency is called due to a large amount of snowfall in the New York City area. Cars are to be off the road, and people are urged to stay in their homes. Kate Beckett can't do that though as she's at Richard Castle's.

Takes off where Writer's Block ended. 

Kate being shot wasn't the end. It wasn't the beginning. It did, however, set something in motion and continued things that already were. No one is safe.

Season Finale aftermath story. Did one last year, doing it again this year. 

It's Christmas and Kate makes a wish, but will it come true?

When Richard Castle is blocked in his writing of the next Nikki Heat novel he pays a late night (well, early morning really...) visit to Kate Beckett at the Precinct.
